On October 26, 2011 South School parents came together to discuss how to spot and manage anxiety in our children. Margret Nickels, PhD, Director of the Center for Children and Families at the Erikson Graduate School of Child Development moderated the discussion. Parents all shared their experiences with spotting anxiety, talking to children about it and managing the physical distress that can come with anxiety. Several books were recommended by parents including:

"A Boy and a Bear: The Children's Relaxation Book" by Lori Lite
