FSG's Executive Director, Nancy Sutherland, is retiring today after 13 years of dedicated service to our agency.  Through her efforts, Nancy has helped FSG make a meaningful difference in our village: supporting individuals and families facing difficult times, building relationships and strengthening our community.

Among her many accomplishments, Nancy:

- Grew FSG's reach and impact by broadening its counseling practice and expanding its staff

- Gave new hope to hundreds of area families via FSG's Alternatives to Violence domestic violence prevention program

- Fostered connection and community through programs like Glencoe Youth Council, Glencoe Parent Connection, Health and Wellness offerings and more.  

Known for her warmth, compassion and level-headedness, Nancy steered Family Service over the course of her tenure from a small, reactive, counseling-based organization into a vibrant, proactive, financially healthy organization poised to confidently enter its 100th year in 2014.

Nancy, we are grateful for all of your contributions over the past 13 years and wish you, your husband and family all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter in your life.
