Lunch and Learn: The Power of Play for Adults

Adriana “Alex” Ochoa, LCSW

Outreach & Intake Manager, FSG

The Power of Play for Adults explores how play, something many of us leave behind in childhood, can become a powerful tool for adult well being. By reconnecting with our inner child, we tap into creativity, curiosity, and joy that often get buried under responsibilities and routine. We’ll dive into how playful practices can reduce stress, boost emotional resilience, improve cognitive flexibility, and even support physical health. Participants will learn why play isn’t frivolous; it’s foundational.

Note, this presentation will be recorded and shared as a resource for those who can't attend live. The Q and A portion will not be recorded.
